Th{a}nks!

Thanks everyone for coming Saturday!! It was so great to be together again! I loved watching how everyones' project's really became their own:)
I thought I should post what month everyone is assigned to. If for some reason your month doesn't work for you, just try and switch with someone. We thought we wouldn't do July because it's such a busy month:

February: Cindy & Paula
March: Crystal & Debbie
April: Jessica & Jennie
May: Brenda & Sarah
June: Addie
August: Andrea

We'll just go to this point and reassign again in August!

If anyone has any questions, let me know! Thanks again!

January Club Projects!

Alrighty! The time has arrived! From what everyone has said Saturdays are still the best, so we have chosen to stick with that. January stamp club will be held January 17th @ 10:00 at Suzanne's Home.

As we have discussed previously, Suzanne and I have come up with the projects for this month but everyone will need to bring their own supplies to complete them {with a few exceptions as noted below}.

We have chosen 4 projects, but you only have to do the ones you like.

For all the projects you will need the following: Paper cutter, Scoring tool, Bone folder, Dimensionals, Sticky Strip tape, Glue or Snail Adhesive, Scissors, Sponges or Daubers, a few people to bring Stamp Cleaner and Spray, and extra paper in case you mess up.

Project 1: The Card!

The picture does not do justice to how cute it is! {just so you know} If you would like to use different stamps than what is pictured above, you must bring them. However, we will provide the ones we have featured:) You will also need to bring one piece of cardstock for the actual card {5 1/2" x 4 1/4"}, one piece of cardstock for the top note {6" x 5"}, one piece of designer cardstock for bottom of top note {6" x 5"}, one small piece of cardstock for the heart, a scrap of cardstock for the saying, ribbon {16"}, paper piercing tools, versamark pad, and coordinating stamp pads. The colors we chose were Rose Red, Chocolate Chip, Regal Rose, and Very Vanilla. {The Top Note pieces will be created by Suz}.

Project 2: "Husband Only" Invitation

For this project you can write whatever you would like on the invitation portion {and this one is also a lot cuter in real life!}. You can also do a different front stamp if you would like as well as a "you're invited" stamp. The "you're invited" we used is actually a dry emboss template from the Cuttle Bug, which we will provide. Anything different you want... bring! You will also need to bring one piece of cardstock for the pocket portion of the card {8" x 8 1/2"}, another colored cardstock for the backing of the band {2 1/2" x 10 1/2"}, another color of cardstock for the front of the band {2 1/4" x 11"}, Ribbon {14 1/2"}, Some white cardstock for the front stamped image {2 1/2" x 3 1/2"}, a coordinating colored cardstock for the back of the insert {5" x 4"}, another piece of white cardstock for the front of the insert {4 3/4" x 3 3/4"}, one eyelet, another ribbon {3"}. The colors used in this were Chocolate Chip, Real Red, and White.

Project 3: Valentine Treat Milk Carton

For this project you will need one piece of cardstock for the carton {7" x 11"}, another colored piece of cardstock for the band {2" X 11" or 12"}, Ribbon {16"}, some scrap cardstock of desired colors for the circles, and coordinating stamp pads. Above we used, Pretty in Pink, Regal Rose, and Basic Gray. As is the same for the above projects, the stamps used will be provided {which were the heart and swirly thing from the Priceless Stamp Set and the Always sayings from the Always Stamp Set} if you would like to do different backgrounds and what not, bring them:)

Project 4: Peppermint Pattie Tin Box

For this project we must know by Thursday of this week if you would like to do it and how many. We must place an order for the Tin Boxes, and we need to allow for shipping time. The cost will be $2.50 for the box and patties. There will also be a portion of the shipping to pay as well, which we will tell you at club. {amount will depend on how many people order}

As is the same with the other projects, the stamps used above will be provided but if you want anything different, you will need to bring them. Also you will need 2 different colored cardstocks for the band {9 1/2" x 1 3/4"}, ribbon {9 1/2"}, coordinating stamp pads and markers, and paper piercing tools. The colors used above were Real Red, Pretty in Pink, and Close to Cocoa.

And there you have it! We have given you the dimensions so if you would like to cut your paper out before it will save you time. We will have the instructions for all of these for everyone to use and take home. For anyone who does want to place orders, Addie will still be taking them. {Remember to check out the retired lists because there is a ton of paper going bye-bye!} Leave a comment for what projects you would like to do, or email if you don't know how to comment yet {which after January club can no longer be an excuse!}!

We are so excited to see everyone again!! Have a great week!

XoxOXoxO, {Get it? Valentines!}

Stationary Box

This is a stationary box that I made for several people for Christmas. Jess found the pattern for them and passed it along to me. Thanks Jess! They turned out really cute. The box just takes a couple of 12 x 12 papers, ribbon, and brad. I made five cards, three note cards, and four tags. The people I gave them to where impressed. The box was pretty simple but the cards took time. Great fun gift.
