Easy {Christmas} Tags!

I realized the time I had before Christmas came was going to fly by all too quickly, so I decided I needed to be quick and easy on my tags for presents. Inspired by Suzanne, who told me where I could find these amazing tags, I am only going to make a few cards this year and the rest are going to get these! You can buy the pre-cut tags for $1.79 for 25 at Ben Franklin. They come in many colors, but I chose the speckled white. Way cheap I think! Then all you have to do is add a few embelishments, and 'wahlah!' I used my favorite Stampin' Up! christmas paper from last year, Old Olive and Real Red colors, and a variety of christmas stamps. I put an antiqued brass jumbo eyelet in the hole, and tied the hemp twine through. Super easy and quick! I made 40. Thanks Suz!

Advent Calendar!

So this is my advent calendar for this Christmas! I love it! I got the jar at Walmart for $12.99 and it is HUGE and holds a candy for all of us to get one everyday! I started it out with a present on the first day and then candy through Christmas Eve and then we'll get our PJ's for the gift that night :) I used the vinyl out of Stampin' Up to put on the jar and then just made cards to change out for each day. I got a big paper clip and just mod-podged it with some matching paper and that holds my cards to countdown. Enjoy! Merry Christmas!!

Here We Go!!

So, I thought we better get this going or it would just fall through the cracks! I hope you all like the name I came up with:) . . . . If you don't, we can totally change it! And we can periodically change the background too. So if you don't like it, don't worry, it will change! {Someday}

We also need to get those who are not "blogger-literate" {yes, I said it} trained and up to speed:)

Now whenever we have projects, questions, or something great we want to share.... here's the place to put it!

We'll get together once a month starting in January. December is always a crazy month, so we'll skip it. When it gets a little closer we can vote on a date and time. Let's get some feedback on how we would like to run our gatherings.... would it be best to have one person each month come up with a project and just let us all know what it requires and each person will bring their own supplies to do it, do we want one person to come up with everything as Addie did and switch off, or do we just want everyone to bring their own projects and simply get together to do them?? Leave a comment and we can discuss it.
